MyGymGate vs Zenoti (2026): Comparison for Indian Gyms
MyGymGate (₹399/mo) vs Zenoti (quote-based): what each does, published terms, India payments, setup time and which suits a single gym or a growing chain.
MyGymGate vs Zenoti is a single-gym tool against chain software. Zenoti, founded in Hyderabad and now based in Bellevue, Washington, runs bookings, payments, staff payroll, inventory and reporting for salons, spas and fitness businesses, with quote-only pricing, typical 12-month contracts and weeks of onboarding. MyGymGate does far less, for ₹399 a month: QR or face check-in on an Android phone, expiry tracking, WhatsApp and email renewal reminders and a TV leaderboard, set up in about a day. If you run or are building several branches and need head-office control, Zenoti fits. If you run one independent gym and your problem is renewals, MyGymGate fits.
A disclosure: we make MyGymGate. Zenoti facts below link to Zenoti's own pages wherever possible. Zenoti doesn't publish prices, so the price figures are clearly marked as third-party estimates.

Zenoti in detail
Who it is
Zenoti started in Hyderabad in 2010 and is now based in Bellevue, Washington, with offices including Hyderabad (about Zenoti). It says it serves more than 30,000 salon, spa and medspa businesses in over 50 countries, and it has a fitness product for gyms and studios. Its best-known Indian customer is Lakmé Salon, which chose Zenoti in 2016 for its 300-salon network.
Price
Zenoti's pricing page offers a demo and a quote, not a price list. Third-party estimates we found, including this one, put a single location at roughly $225 to $500 a month, with add-ons billed separately. Treat those as rough; only a written quote counts.
Zenoti's own blog, in its 2026 review, says there's no free trial, contracts typically run 12 months, and onboarding takes four to 12 weeks.
What it does
- Online booking from your website, Google, Instagram and Facebook (online booking).
- Class and facility scheduling, integrated point of sale, staff scheduling with commissions and payroll, and inventory.
- An AI receptionist that answers missed calls.
- Member and guest self check-in by kiosk or app.
- Reporting across locations from one dashboard.
Where Zenoti is stronger
Running several locations. Central reporting, staff payroll and commissions, inventory and one login for everything are what chains buy it for, and MyGymGate doesn't try to do any of that. It also has the best India payment story among the international names: its help docs list UPI, internet banking, cards, Paytm, PhonePe, Amazon Pay and BharatQR through Airpay.
What to watch for
- It's a project, not an app. Four to 12 weeks of onboarding and a typical 12-month contract are a big commitment for one gym.
- Size. Zenoti's own review page says some small businesses find it more than they need.
- Cancellation. The same Zenoti-run page acknowledges that a small number of customers have reported billing problems around cancellation. Read the exit terms in your contract.
- Gym references. Its public Indian customer examples are salon chains. Ask for gym references.
If you ask Zenoti for a quote
Ask for these in writing: the monthly price per location, which modules and add-ons are included, card processing rates for UPI and cards in India, the contract length and notice period, the onboarding timeline and who does the data migration, and two gym customers in India you can call. A good vendor answers all six without hesitation.
Pick Zenoti if you run or are building several locations and want central reporting, payroll and booking in one system, with the budget and staff time for a proper rollout.

Price
₹399 a month, one plan, everything included, unlimited members. No setup fee, free member import, monthly with no long lock-in.
What it does
- Front desk: any Android phone becomes a locked-down scanner. Members show a QR pass or use optional face check-in (consent-based, matched on the scanner phone). Check-in takes about 2 seconds, and expired plans are stopped at the door.
- Retention: who's inside, today's visits, who expires this week and who has gone quiet, plus an attendance calendar.
- Reminders: automatic welcome, renewal and "we miss you" emails in your gym's name, and WhatsApp templates that open with the message filled in.
- Members: a QR pass by email and a private tracker link. No app to install.
- TV: a live leaderboard with streaks and weekly champions on any TV browser.
Where MyGymGate is stronger
Cost and speed. A year of MyGymGate is ₹4,788, under 2% of the estimated cost of Zenoti for one location, and you can be checking members in within about a day instead of weeks. It also has two things Zenoti doesn't: WhatsApp reminder templates built for Indian gyms and a live TV leaderboard.
Where MyGymGate falls short
No class or slot booking, no payment collection or POS, no payroll, commissions or inventory, no membership freeze, and the owner app is Android only (the web dashboard works anywhere). It isn't built for chain-wide reporting.
Which should you choose?
- Choose MyGymGate if you run one independent gym (or a couple, managed separately) and your real problem is members drifting away before renewal.
- Choose Zenoti if you run or are building a chain and need central reporting, booking, POS and payroll in one system.
- In between? If you're one location but need class booking and card payments, neither is a perfect fit. Look at the class-focused tools in our gym management software comparison for India.

Frequently asked questions
How much does Zenoti cost?
Zenoti doesn't publish prices; every plan is quoted after a demo. Third-party estimates we found put a single location at roughly $225 to $500 a month, which is about ₹21,400 to ₹47,500 at ₹95 to the dollar, plus add-ons. Ask for a written quote.
Is Zenoti overkill for a single gym?
For most single independent gyms, yes. Zenoti's own blog says some small businesses find it more than they need, onboarding takes four to 12 weeks, and contracts typically run 12 months. Its strengths, central reporting and multi-location control, matter most to chains.
Does Zenoti support UPI in India?
Yes. Zenoti's help docs list UPI, internet banking, cards and wallets such as Paytm, PhonePe and Amazon Pay through Airpay for India. INR pricing isn't published.
Can MyGymGate run more than one gym?
An owner can manage more than one gym and switch between them in the app, but MyGymGate is built for independent gyms, not for chain-wide reporting. A chain that needs head-office reports across branches should look at software like Zenoti.
